2023
In 2023, with the support of the Institute of International Education LTSNU, a dedicated four-month training course titled "English for Professional Development" was launched for the staff of the Luhansk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office (part of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine). The programme was attended by 55 prosecutors and high-ranking officials, and its goal was to enhance their ability to communicate in English for professional purposes, use authentic English-language sources, and participate in discussions and presentations in English. Upon successful completion, participants received certificates acknowledging their newly acquired language and professional skills - an important step in aligning civil-servant capacities with Ukraine’s evolving standards for public officials.
