Study-Related Issues

The academic year usually starts in September / October and ends in June. However, individual trajectory of studying based on the date of enrollment order is considered to be attainable. Bachelor's degree takes 4 academic years to complete (240 ECTS credits); Master's degree takes 1.5 academic years to complete (90 ESCT credits); PhD's degree takes 4 academic years to complete (exceptions can be, but no less than 2 academic years to complete; 60 ECTS credits). All applicants are enrolled to the University based on the results of competences assessment, which might be either in the form of an interview, or multiple-choice testing. Invitation for Study

To receive official Invitation for Study issued by LTSNU, the following information must be provided to international.lnu@gmail.com: first name and surname, date of birth, passport number, address of residence, place of submission of visa application (country and city with the Embassy or General Consulate of Ukraine), as well as scan copies of the following documents:

certificate of completed secondary education, translated into Ukrainian (English);
photocopy of the first two pages of international passport (with photo), translated into Ukrainian (English).

Entrance Competences Assessment

Foreign citizens are being enrolled to LTSNU in the academic year 2023 - 2024 starting from 1 May until 28 December (first wave); not later than 01 April, 2024 (second wave). Having checked the applicant’s documents, the Institute of International Education makes a decision to allow / disallow a foreigner to take part in competence assessment in Ukrainian (English). The knowledge is graded as “sufficient” or “insufficient”

In accordance with the results of the assessment (provided the applicant’s level of knowledge is graded as “sufficient”) the contract on education services provision is signed up, on the basis of which the tuition fee is paid and the enrollment order is issued.
