Specialized English Language Course for Prosecutors Launched

On October 27, 2025, a specialized English language program for employees of the Luhansk Oblast Prosecutor's Office commenced at the Institute of International Education, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
On October 27, 2025, a specialized English language course for employees of the Luhansk Oblast Prosecutor's Office began at the Institute of International Education, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The project is implemented in partnership with the Trade Union of Employees of the Luhansk Oblast Prosecutor's Office and the NGO "Educative Initiatives Agency" The course is scheduled to conclude on December 26, 2025.
The course curriculum is designed to meet the professional needs of prosecutors and focuses on developing practical skills in business and official communication in English – from presenting job responsibilities and conducting work correspondence to participating in online meetings, preparing brief reports, and interacting with international institutions. Twenty-one prosecutors of various management levels are participating in the course – from department heads to division prosecutors. Classes are taught by instructors with professional training in English philology and experience teaching professional audiences. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate indicating their language proficiency level (A2–B1), the scope of training, and the course duration.
"Systematic language training for public servants is an important step toward strengthening international cooperation, enhancing legal diplomacy, and integrating Ukraine into the global legal space. We are pleased that Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University serves as a platform where a modern communication culture of public service is being formed," the program organizers noted.
The project is part of the university's development directions in the sphere of international integration and inter-institutional cooperation, which supports state institutions, strengthens human capacity, and ensures professional development under martial law and post-war reconstruction conditions.
