On March 6, more than 50 representatives of European Union projects and partner organizations gathered to celebrate the achievements of the EU’s communication and educational campaign #LearningGrowingTogether.
The final meeting of representatives from EU-funded projects and partner organizations took place on March 6, 2025, in the conference hall of the InterContinental Kyiv hotel. The event was dedicated to summarizing the results of the large-scale communication campaign #LearningGrowingTogether. Over 50 delegates from different regions of Ukraine convened to discuss achievements and share best practices in implementing educational initiatives. The event served as a platform for experience exchange and the establishment of new partnerships between educational institutions and European donors.
Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was represented at the event by Iryna V. Myhovych, Head of the International Relations Office and Director of the Institute of International Education, who presented the results of the project "Enhancing the Impact of Teachers in Luhansk Region on the Processes of Society’s Consolidation in Ukraine". Additionally, Liudmyla Ovcharova, an inspector at the International Education Sector of the International Relations Office, shared insights on organizing international academic mobility within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ program, under the conditions of the university’s second relocation.
Since February 24, 2022, the European Union has invested over €350 million in Ukrainian education, supporting students, educators, and institutions in times of challenges and change. The #LearningGrowingTogether campaign has achieved significant results:
10 events were held across Ukraine, engaging 16,500 participants;
Over 20 partner organizations contributed to the initiative’s implementation;
14 million Ukrainians became aware of the opportunities provided by the EU;
A mobile exhibition traveled 3,000 km, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors.
The participation of LTSNU in the European Commission’s event underscored the university’s unique position as one of the few displaced Ukrainian universities that has not only preserved but also significantly expanded its international activities. The experience presented in implementing international projects and organizing academic mobility during wartime attracted considerable interest from potential partners and served as a compelling example of resilience, adaptability, and professionalism. Through successful participation in such events, LTSNU continues to strengthen its reputation as a reliable partner in the international educational space, opening new opportunities for the professional development of students and faculty while contributing to the integration of Ukrainian education into the European academic community.
